You will see it all, travelling between Auckland and Queenstown aboard all four of the world-famous rail journeys throughout New Zealand.

You'll start your journey in Auckland, the first few days are aboard the Northern Explorer train travelling through the volcanic heart of the North Island. You'll be enjoying the Scenic Plus class.  Scenic Plus has it's own dedicated carriage with panoramic windows and comfy table seating.  Your meals will be served to your seat all the while your guide will be storytelling about the area.  Your meals will represent the areas you're travelling through and will be paired with complimented beverages.    

Cruising between islands, the Interislander journey takes a leisurely course around Wellington Harbour and through the magnificent Marlborough Sounds to Picton.

From Picton, you'll voyage through vineyards and along the Pacific Coast to Kaikōura and then onto Christchurch aboard the scenic Coastal Pacific train. 

Your final journey is aboard the TranzAlpine Scenic Plus train, traversing the Southern Alps on a breathtaking journey from east to West Coast.
